With two turtle cams installed in the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Topsail Beach, young and old alike not only get a first hand view of the goings on at the center and it’s “high profile” patients, but an education as well. Karen Sota, one of the hospital’s volunteers, truly has a gift for writing and a real passion for turtles.
Karen keeps everyone up-to-date on the latest happenings with their rescue efforts. Her knowledge brings a deeper understanding of our natural wildlife and how we can help save our precious sea turtles from extinction by keeping the environment clean and safe, which not only helps the turtles, but helps us as well.
